Apparently a lot of people seem to be confused by this episode so let me give you a basic rundown of what conspired. Basically, when we thought that he suddenly managed to control his emotions when almost reaching breaking point, he actually didn't and blew up everything but just restored the world instantly after. What this ability does not work on though is people who are already dead aka Sun Rong. So he failed to revive her. The toad gave him the idea to reverse time which is what he decided to do.
The toad has control over time and Wang Ling does over space so both of them combined and tried to reverse time. But their powers merged too much and they basically created a new world slowly siphoning over everything from the original (excluding the dead ofc). Hades in the underworld pissed his pants in the meantime seeing the world collapse and sent Sun Rong back. Sun Rong then used Wang Ling's spirit sword to split the two's powers back up again which stopped and reversed the creation of the new world. Now they're all stuck in a timeless world because Wang Ling messed with time a bit too much and has fragmented his timeline. This is when toad suggests that they can actually carry out their original plan of time reversal properly now since both of their powers are now separated and easily manageable so that is what they do. Naturally, everyone's memory gets reversed with time too (except toad and Wang Ling since both of them transcend time).
Also that little bit after the credits is just Wang Ling going back in time to save the old man who was the master of shadow clan head. Hope this eases the transition into s2.

Why does Wang Ling have green eyes at that time ?

It's probably due to him fusing with toad (or his powers) to reverse time. Or maybe just an animation mistake though that's unlikely.

Steins Gate over all is like this events happen then they try to change them and by meddling too much they have to undo it more or less its a very fun watch thou might be confusing at times as anything in movies or series with time manipulation is done correctly

The ending is just so confusing. When i was getting a gist of it somehow but towards the end i wasn't able to understand it. Well gonna search this on Reddit so that some intellectual guy can explain this. xD

Well i think Sun came back to life but she was too late. Wang has already defied heavens so no restoration. They did Reversed the time so Sun has no memory of it but to the time they Reversed she already was in love with him at that time....Its Sad that he has to again suppress his emotions. That post credit Scene messed up my mind and has anyone noticed that Wang had Green eyes instead of Red in the post Credit scene.

Btw Season 2 has already been confirmed and i hope they explain what tf really happened. xD

The green eyes are from a previous episode where he either reversed time or used foresight to see the future.

If you're really confused, try reading the Novel, I'd say Manhua but it's actually behind the Donghua...

I think it may have simply been to explain the previous rewind in the episode where he was tied to the cross. He suddenly has green eyes there too, even though before the rewind, he never did. I think the things with the cross before the rewind is canon to before this rewind. It's actually a little interesting and a pretty creative callback, but it is pretty confusing. Of course, I could just be misinterpreting things.

Now this is the reason why everyone is disappointed at the ending.

The end credit scenes explain why something is changed after that driver kick the other man so hard.
